These terms govern access to and use of the Covina ecosystem. By using our services, you agree to these terms in their entirety.

1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms of Use define the rules for accessing and using the services provided by Covina Corps, including the citizen app, the Authority portal, the Coop platform and Parrain Market. By creating an account or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Description of services
Covina is a Congolese technology ecosystem dedicated to citizen safety, authority coordination and support for local commerce. Our services include, but are not limited to: SOS alerts and citizen reports, the authority dashboard, the Covina Coop partner network and the Parrain Market secure transaction system. Features may evolve according to needs, regulations or technical constraints.
3. Account creation and management
To access certain services, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities carried out under your account. Covina reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in the event of inaccurate information, fraudulent use or violation of these terms.
4. Responsible use
You agree to use Covina services fairly, lawfully and responsibly. It is strictly prohibited to: • trigger false alerts or make malicious reports; • use the platform to harass, threaten or distribute illegal content; • attempt to bypass security measures or access other users' data; • use Covina for unauthorized or deceptive commercial purposes. Any breach may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, legal proceedings.
5. Alerts and reports
SOS alerts and citizen reports are transmitted to the competent authorities in real time. By sending an alert, you agree that your GPS location and associated evidence may be shared with accredited authorities. You guarantee the truthfulness of the information transmitted. Covina cannot be held responsible for consequences arising from a false alert or abusive use of emergency services.
6. Intellectual property
All elements of the Covina platform (trademarks, logos, interfaces, texts, images, software) are protected by intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution or exploitation is strictly prohibited. You retain rights to the content you publish, but you grant Covina a limited license to use it for the operation and improvement of the services.
7. Liability and limitations
Covina undertakes to implement the necessary means to ensure the availability, security and reliability of its services. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or the complete absence of errors. Covina cannot be held liable for intervention delays, network limitations (internet, SMS, USSD) or decisions made by third-party authorities. Use of the services is at your own risk.
8. Transactions on Parrain Market
Parrain Market is a connection and escrow service for transactions between individuals or professionals. Covina facilitates secure payment and the role of the Parrain, but is not a party to sales contracts concluded between users. Commercial disputes must be resolved between the parties, where applicable with the intervention of the Parrain according to the service rules.
9. Changes to these terms
Covina may modify these terms at any time to reflect changes in services or legal obligations. Changes take effect upon publication. We encourage you to review this page regularly. By continuing to use our services after a modification, you accept the new terms.
